Choosing the Best Garbage Disposal for your Kitchen Sink

Have you ever went to either your local hardware store, big box home improvement store or online website and tried to figure out what’s the best garbage disposal to choose from the many that are out there.

Our company has installed and replaced multiple garbage disposals all around the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and have found a selected few garbage disposals that have been reliable and affordable.

The first one is only available at Costco and the last two you can either purchase it from Costco or Amazon. All three garbage disposals are made from the same manufacture Joneca Company LLC and come very a long limited warranty.

1. American Standard 1.25 HP Premium Hush-Tek Garbage Disposer

This garbage disposal is only available at Costco and has the longest warranty of all three garbage disposals at an amazing 12 year limited warranty. It’s a little bulky, but that bulkiness makes the garbage a little bit quieter from the rest.

This garbage disposal is both available at Costco and Amazon. This one has the similar features as the previous one, but it’s slimmer. It comes with a 10 year limited warranty and its great if you want to save up space under your kitchen sink.

3. Waste Maid Stainless Steel 3/4 HP Slim Line Garbage Disposal

This is garbage this disposal similar to American Standard Slim Line 1.25HP Food Waste Disposer the one above. The only difference is that it has a 3/4 horse power motor, which will make less sound, but overall a good garbage disposal.

Conclusion:

All three garbage disposals are great, they come with a long warranty and it just depends on what your looking for and your budget.

Side Note:

The most common make and model garbage disposal that we had replaced with a new Standard American garbage disposal, were the InSinkErator Badger 1 or the InSinkErator Badger 5 and the main problem that made them stop working was damage by rusting.
